This is a question to both CHF and ACHA organizations. How are crossover games counted in the rankings? For example a CHF team vs an ACHA team game. Also to expand how are intra division games handled in rankings?
Can only speak for CHF but such games only have relevance if more than one team plays the ACHA opponent.
The computer cannot differentiate Adrian D1 and say a CHE bottom feeder. Basically it sets the opponent rating based off the results of the game.
UNC-Wilmington for example has games against South Carolina, Tampa and UNC-Charlotte. This now gives UNCW a “rating” and such games vs them have some meaning.
